We offer expert, personalized treatment with a focus on creating an unparalleled experience that supports the healing process and helps each resident achieve their treatment goals.

SKA-SHIFRA Residential Care has a team of Behavioral Health professionals, including Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Supervisors, and Registered Nurses who work with/and supervise full-time frontline personnel – Program Director, Behavioral Health Technicians and Paraprofessionals in providing the following services:
- Assessment and Admission of Residents
- Treatment Plans
- Medication Services
- Counseling/Support Intervention Services (Individual, Family, and Group Counseling)
We utilize a caring team of behavioral health professionals and other contracted health agencies to provide a variety of interventions designed to promote personal growth, personal care, social skills, adaptive daily living skills, including interpersonal and coping skills.
SKA-SHIFRA is in compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety codes for the population/subclass to be served (Residential and /or personal Care Residents) – wheelchair ramps, well-equipped bath, and toilets including grab bars and spacious rooms.
Resident Agency Status
SKA-SHIFRA Behavioral Health Residential and Personal Care facility with 24-hour personnel coverage per the following schedule:
- Shift 1 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 5:1 Resident to Personnel Ratio
- Shift 2 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, 5:1 Resident to Personnel Ratio
- Shift 3 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 5:1 Resident to Personnel Ratio
Note: Agency will not employ emergency safety response measures. Personnel members will receive training on verbal de-escalation techniques and procedure for utilizing emergency resources. In situations where a resident exhibits a sudden intense outburst, or out of control behavior, or there is an immediate threat to the life or health of a resident/personnel member, individual on duty shall attempt to employ de-escalation techniques. In an instance where the employee is not able to handle the situation, a Crisis team such as TERROS, other emergency response teams, or the law enforcement agency will be contacted.
Services Provided in the Home
Our staff members support residents in developing independent living skills that can help them step down to a less intensive level of support. In time, individuals may develop the stability and skills to transition out of the Community Living Placement and live on their own or with family. Ultimately, it is our aim to champion every client’s goals in our group home with passion and integrity.
Our services include:
Assisting with Personal Care
Assistance with bathing and grooming, dressing, toileting, and exercise
Basic Food Preparation
Preparing meals, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, and other errands
General Health Care
Overseeing medication and prescriptions usage, appointment reminders, and administering medicine
Help with getting in and out of a wheelchair, car, or shower
Providing constant companionship and general supervision
Being a stable companion and supporter in all matters personal, health-related, and emotional
Care for Residents
We follow-up Doctors prescriptions or recommendations. We make sure that the resident is safe and handled with care.
We monitor our residents every 15 minutes for safety reason

Each resident is provided with a treatment plan tailored to their needs and condition which may include any or all of the following services:
- 1/1 Counseling teaching skills
- Computer assistance
- Transportations to Doctor’s appointment
- Group therapy counseling and individual counseling
- Substance abuse meeting
- NA/AA-meeting, 12 steps and relapse prevention
- Assist resident in administering medications and educating the resident on meds
- Job preparation and resume assistance
- Encourage residents on hygiene (ADL)
- Going to park, movies/cinemas
- Personal choices
